Our Why

Living better with bipolarity

We can make a change to no longer endure unsuitable treatments that lead to destructive relapses. My dream for us—people with bipolarity—is to realize our true potential by transforming our bipolarity into an opportunity. Through the Stages of Hope—understand, accept, guide, and support—we can better manage our bipolarity and achieve lasting recovery.

We are an impact platform

HopeStage, created by and for individuals living with bipolarity, brings together a non-profit organization, "Les Étapes de l’Espoir", and an impact-driven company, HopeStage.

The organization supports people with bipolarity and their loved ones while collaborating with healthcare professionals. The company, on the other hand, advises organizations on mental health issues, thereby helping to fund our social mission.

My story as a founder:

2013. I am 19 years old. First depression, Euphoria. Depression. Euphoria. Depression. Euphoria.

All the way up.
Then all the way down.
The roller coaster. Endless.

9 years of wandering. Psychiatrists inaccessible, not very available, poorly informed. An existence in pieces, lacking serenity and stability. And, finally, the diagnosis. The right doctor. A stroke of luck.

Bipolarity.

I am relieved. Finally a word about what I am going through. I am also lost: who should I turn to? Where can I find out more? Where can I get help? How to talk about it? And above all: how do I break the roller coaster hell, how do I put out the fires that are consuming my life one after the other?

So, I discuss, I meet, I question. Hundreds of people, psychiatrists and mental health experts. All over the world.

I understand that experts are essential. But rare. That the health system is not adapted to mental illnesses. Over-medicated. Not enough in the support. Too inaccessible. Even less available.

I am experimenting on myself. And I understand that it is necessary The stages of hope. Understand in order to accept, train, guide myself and be accompanied by a psychiatrist, a psychologist and a bipolar peer helper.

Then I know that we can change things. By offering something else. To no longer suffer from maladjustment and destructive relapses.

That's why I created HopeStage, a social and solidarity business.

My dream, for us bipolar people, is to realize our potential, to turning our bipolarity into an opportunity.

HopeStage makes up your personal team: a psychiatrist, a psychologist and a peer helper. It's your help tray. This team works hand in hand for your well-being, with a scientific approach and the tools most adapted to your situation.

The good news? From now on, you can make an appointment with our bipolarity experts and achieve your recovery. Live what!
