HopeStage is first and foremost a mission: to help people living with a psychological disorder to achieve their dreams for a lasting recovery. Since 2022, we have been supporting thousands of bipolar people with a supportive community, and various resources on bipolarity such as online training, podcasts, videos, and blogs. We are creating the mental health centers of tomorrow, specializing in mood disorders, by using technology to optimize the efficiency of care.

JOB DESCRIPTION

‍We are here to announce that our Bipolar Discussion Group On Facebook, which has more than 3000 members, is growing rapidly. This group is a support space for people affected by mental illness, as well as for their loved ones and those who want to know more.

To continue to provide a safe and caring environment, we are looking for volunteer moderators.

The work is not paid because it is for the benefit of the association “Les Éstages de l'Espoir”.

MAIN MISSIONS

• Accept subscription requests: Ensure that new members meet the admission criteria.
• Respond to member questions: Provide quality information and support.
• Conflict moderation: Intervening in a neutral and caring manner to resolve disputes.
• Attendance at meetings: Participate in occasional meetings with association members to discuss best practices and possible improvements.

WANTED PROFILE

• Empathy and caring: A natural ability to understand and support others.
• Good communication: Clarity, patience and diplomacy in written exchanges.
• Commitment: A willingness to contribute regularly and consistently.
• Knowledge of psychological disorders (a plus): Personal or professional experience in the field is an asset.
